Champaign Welcomes You

This video was created by the campus chapter of the Chinese Students and Scholars Association for the Moon Gala, held Sept. 22 at Foellinger Auditorium. The video was the theme song of the event and was featured at the opening to welcome everyone. The gala was held to celebrate Mid-Autumn Festival, which is also called Moon Festival or Lantern Festival. It is a traditional and very important lunar harvest festival celebrated by Chinese and Vietnamese people. It is a public holiday in China and Taiwan. The music in the video is originally from the 2008 Olympics song "Beijing Welcomes You."

They are a very lucky generation. I wish we had those.

It is designed to attract Chinese undergraduates to their university. The video is quite effective using pretty girls and handsome boys. LOL
