My dear classmates:

This must-see PBS Frontline documentary, "The Warning" is about one lone regulator, the Chair of the CFTC, who warned Congress about derivative dangers over 12 years ago. As a result, she found herself single-handedly pitted against some of the most powerful people in Washington and was ultimately forced to resign.

A better title for this film would have been "How Greenspan and Company Took Down America."

This is eaxctly the reason why I know this financial melt down was coming years ago.
