讓網友了解股市的艱辛可怕,慎之!慎之!

大陸2008年進入股市者:
武松進去,肉鬆出來;寶馬進去,自行車出來;
皮大衣進去,三點式出來;老闆進去,打工仔出來;
鱷魚進去,壁虎出來;蟒蛇進去,蚯蚓出來;
老虎進去,小貓出來;別墅進去,草棚出來;
站著進去,躺著出來;牽著狗進去;被狗牽出來;
坐火箭進去,坐潛艇出來;
總之,就是地球進去也會變乒乓球出來.
當我們沒進入股市的時候,傻子都在賺錢;
當我們興沖沖地闖進去之後,才發現自己是傻子。
天蒼蒼,野茫茫,今年的股市太渺茫;

The economical situation deteriorated so fast the main stream media just couldn't understand the implication and our government couldn't fix the problem and wouldn't tell us the truth.

WASHINGTON -- America's five largest banks, which already have received $145 billion in taxpayer bailout dollars, still face potentially catastrophic losses from exotic investments if economic conditions substantially worsen, their latest financial reports show.

Citibank, Bank of America, HSBC Bank USA, Wells Fargo Bank, and J.P. Morgan Chase reported that their "current" net loss risks from derivatives -- insurance-like bets tied to a loan or other underlying asset -- surged to $587 billion as of Dec. 31. Buried in end-of-the-year regulatory reports that McClatchy has reviewed, the figures reflect a jump of 49 percent in just 90 days...more

J.P. Morgan Chase is in better shape than the other four. Many big banks are insolvent if they use Mark-to-Market model to value their assets. But, FASB (Financial Accounting Standard Board) agreed on proposed guidance that would allow bank to use their own model to estimate the "fair value" of their assets. It could happen in couple weeks. On paper, these banks would all be fine again.???? Yen

They will turn into zombie banks.
Please see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zombie_bank

A zombie Bank refers to a financial institution with an economic net worth that is less than zero, but which continues to operate because its ability to repay its debts is shored up by implicit or explicit government credit support....more

That was exactly what Japanese government did by taking up all of the worthless papers. Now, Japan has the highest debt to GDP ratio in the world and still in recession. US is the second. But, will over take the #1 spot very soon.

Richard Russell on gold:

http://www.321gold.com/editorials/russell/russell032309.html

"My gold position now is comparable to my market position back in 1958. My gold position
represents maybe 30% of my total worth. Why have I done this again?
For the following reasons.
(1) I believe gold is in a major or primary bull market. I believe the gold bull
market is currently in its second phase. This is the phase where sophisticated
and seasoned investors and the funds enter the market. I don't believe the
public is in the gold market to any extent. They are interested and watching the
action, but they do not have the nerve to buy gold. In fact, the public doesn't
know how to buy gold, although ads are now appearing telling them of the
"wonders" of gold and how they can buy the coins (at huge premiums over spot
gold).
(2) If there is only one bull market in progress, it will attract broad new
coverage and attention -- just as Thursday's $70 rise in gold did."

Gold in Hyper-Drive

It appeared that the price of gold has hit a very strong resistance organized by worldwide central banks while gold enters it seasonal weakness. Therefore, my suggestion is to wait for a solid bottom from now to late August. What I see is that the fundamentals are still intact and no improvement of financial sector. Any improvement is only a temperatory show case.

The recent rally of the stock market and falling price of gold will let most people dropped their guards. This is exactly the so called counter trend rally in a bear market. When every one thought the crisis is over another shoe will drop and you will be exposed in an even more dangerous situation.

Buying gold has to use a strategy which is never chase the price. Only buy it at deep pull backs with small increments. And, drag the buying period into several years. Remember only buy physical gold coins and bars. The most popluar and liquid weight is 1 oz. Do not take gold certificates or store your gold with the dealers. You need to have direct control of your gold, which is the purpose for protection. You don't want any person between you and your gold. Don't trust any one else. Good luck.

"One must reach the inevitable conclusion that neither Bernanke, nor his comrades, such as Timothy Geithner, actually "know" what they are doing. Instead, that crowd in Washington DC, think that if they throw money around, it will land somewhere, and help things. They are wrong. But, to partly achieve this goal, they have forced changes in accounting standards, legalizing misrepresentation of bank bookkeeping, and removed "mark to market" standards, replacing those standards with a system of "mark to fantasy" that is remarkably similar to that which previously existed and caused this crisis. "Mark to fantasy" accounting, now the order of the day once again, will allow insolvent banks to present the false appearance of big profits this quarter, even as they are really on the brink of failing. The end result will be more economic imbalances, as investors unknowingly misallocate their investment dollars to buy into the fraud."
