‘end of the rainbow’


Can you see the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow?

This photo was taken by Jason Erdkamp of Lake Forest and was posted at Orange County Register. Several readers have said in the Comments section that they think this image was PhotoShopped.

If you save the picture to your PC you can take a look at the "meta data" of the exif structure, typically including camera model, time and date. This photo was taken by iphone and it includes GPS information as well. Here is an example of a free exif editor http://www.opanda.com/en/iexif/download.htm

I don't think he needs photoshop to create the rainbow, the sun to rainbow to the viewer is about 42 degree, plus the mist created by the spinning wheel and the dark background, everything fall into the right place.
